This 3-credit introductory iPad course is designed for classroom teachers to explore, practice and create content as it applies to the K-12 classroom. From basic management of iPad to content creation, participants will develop an understanding how iPad can transform teaching and learning. Each interactive learning module will connect content with pedagogical practices such as the SAMR model, differentiated instruction, and 21st century learning skills.
In this blended course, students will meet face-to-face six times for four hours and experience what it's like to teach with iPads in instruction. Throughout these six face-to-face modules, students will engage in hands-on learning, group sharing of ideas, and small breakout sessions that offer differentiation of learning styles.
Students will also engage in 3.5 hours of online work per week which includes course readings, reflective responses and collaborative sharing of ideas through one of our course learning management systems, Schoology. Students will create one product for each learning module that has practical meaning to classroom instruction.

Throughout these six face-to-face modules, students will engage in hands-on learning, group sharing of ideas, and small breakout sessions that offer differentiation of learning styles.
**Summer Course Schedule runs 6 modules over 4 days**
Students will also engage in 3.5 hours of online work per module which includes course readings, reflective responses and collaborative sharing of ideas through Canvas, our course learning management system. Students will also spend time creating a mini product (five total) for each learning module during the course.

This intermediate iPad course is designed to help classroom teachers integrate multimedia productions in their classroom. With the underlying principles of Project Based Learning, teachers will be able to redefine their classroom projects immediately while “hacking” their assessments. Participants will learn how to teach students to author their very own multimedia presentations and broadcast them to parents, schools, and other outside communities. As part of this course, participants will receive an iPad Multimedia kit to build a small classroom studio to help start creating high-quality video and audio immediately. This kit will include a green screen, microphone(s), and an iPad tripod.
As a prerequisite to this course, participants should have an iPad (iPad Air 2, Mini 2,3, or 4, or iPad Pros) and have a basic understanding of iPad features, settings, and functions.
This blended course will take place in both an online setting with discussions on the book Hacking Project Based Learning by Ross Cooper through our LMS, Schoology, as well as six face to face sessions (four in the summer) with a hands-on interactive approach. There is 3 ½ hours of online work per week. Participants will be actively engaged in creating these useful presentations for their classroom during the face to face sessions.

This introductory blended course examines how to use Google Apps in the 21st Century Classroom as digital tools enhancing collaboration, creativity, and improved student communication. This course will provide educators the opportunity to learn all of the main G-Suite programs including Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Sites, and Google Classroom. Additionally, educators will learn to leverage apps and Chrome extensions. This course is designed for the instructor who wants to utilize free, powerful, collaborative tools with their colleagues, students, and community.
In addition to learning the G-Suite tools for instructional purposes, educators will participate in class activities with iPads. This instructional approach is designed specifically for educators teaching in classrooms with iPads.
Prequisite: All participants are expected to bring an iPad to class capable of downloading apps. This course is perfect for any educator interested in using G Suite in an iPad environment.
