This 3-credit intermediate iPad course is designed for classroom teachers to explore, practice and create content as it applies to the K-12 classroom. This course is designed for the beginner / intermediate iPad user who has some individual fluency with iPads but who strives to empower students to utilize iPads in highly creative and innovative ways. It promotes student-centered learning through a station rotation model and will challenge learners to engage with iPad apps such as Notes, Pages, Keynote, Clips, iMovie, as well as others. Course projects will challenge participants to rethink student learning and redesign student activities that promote student choice, creativity, collaboration, and communication all through the lens of SAMR, TPACK, and digital citizenship.

In this blended course, students will meet for six face-to-face modules, scheduling can vary, and experience what it's like to teach with iPads in instruction. Throughout these six face-to-face modules, students will engage in hands-on learning, group sharing of ideas, and small breakout sessions that offer differentiation of learning styles.

Students will also engage in 3.5 hours of online work per week which includes course readings, reflective responses and collaborative sharing of ideas through one of our course learning management systems, Schoology.
